Hi all, I need some help with my processor, currently running under rated clock speeds.

Don't quite know what voltages to change.
OC newb here.

CPU 10940X
Board: Asus Prime A II
RAM: 64GB 3600 CL g skill

@VPII Is a OC guru from what I have read on here.
Im not all the clued up with Intel at present but can try to help as best I can. Key for me is first to find a set vcore that will keep my load temps as cool as possible and there after start setting the cpu speed up little by little till it fails. Most swear by prime95 small fft for stability tests, I personally enjoy blender benchmark as it will run a while and if it pass you can say you have stability.

Thanks man, will go check it out, have a vcore that works now, and does not crash in Prime95, nor in my rendering programs.
So far so good, happy there on all core.

Single core is dog slow, should be 4.8, sitting at 4.1 max, any suggestions?

Look for any power limit settings in your BIOS . This is what limits sustain load performance. Just talking generally as I don't think anyone in SA has a 10940X :D

I found maxing out long and short duration power settings gives me much better performance even with non K CPU's . Might have a different name in your BIOS

Come 1v1 me on the n1 and we see whose bike doesn't have power :p
My bike might have power, I don't.
Due to some shit that happened in the past I rarely get to 200, let alone exceed it.
Where my guts stop, your bike starts.

Dont feel too bad. did 230 on Sunday and by Monday I felt like I did a full session in the gym.
Everything from my neck to my ass was paining.
Joys of not getting much saddle time in anymore due to lockdown and working from home.

@Petester, did that, little bit more stable, single core is still down.
Thinking about setting core ratios manually, later tonight.
Have one or two things to attend to.
