Hello guys.
Long story short. Wife had a 2012 Citroen C4. She crashed it two weeks ago. She is okay, no damage to her what so ever. Car is a write off. Need new car.
Looked at "we buy cars" and was thoroughly disappointed. They literally buy and sell cars as is, regardless if its broken to hell or not. They buy a car with a engine that is pissing oil, they sell it at RXX price with the pissing oil.
Either way, there was a lexus is 250, Merc C300 and a BMW 320i that we were interested in. All roughly about 2010/2011 models with around 100 000kms on them. Turned out the lexus didn't have water in the radiator because there is a leak somewhere which they sell to you as is. C300 had really bad hail damage, and a missing glove compartment... I'm still confused as to HOW but what ever. The BMW was in perfect condition and it was sitting there with a "sold" paper attached to it, a little bit irritating. I also learnt that the Suzuki Swift Sport 1.6 is made for midgets who's physical width has to be that of a small pole to fit into those damn seats and I'm not particularly a big guy and the boot is big enough to hold your lunch time spoon, not the lunch box, just the spoon.
Anyway,I looked around online and went to a few dealerships and sorta came up with a few options that my wife and I sorta agree on.
2013 BMW 320i Coupe AT - 121 500 km - Full service history
2012 BMW 328i AT - 126 831 KM - Full service history
2015 Citroen DS4 1.6 thp AT - 54 000 KM
2016 Toyota Corolla 1.8 CVT - 70 000 KM
2015 Citroen DS5 1.6 thp AT - 74 000 KM
2013 BMW 320i "M sport" AT - 102 000 KM
These are all Automatics because wifey wants a automatic which severely limits the options as well as she doesn't want to run out of puff when going up a incline because her previous car was a 1.6 diesel and that didn't care about hills.
Gimme all your brutal opinions please.
