They wont, 80 man quick scope lobbies lets go! Haven't looked into it but if they allow specialist abilities then RIP end game circles. My biggest worry...How in the hell are they going to keep things balanced?

The game uses P2P connectionNo local servers btw.

How sure are you?
A doubt Blizzard will allow such a thing, especially with 50+ players also it doesnt make sense, if the host dies and leaves there will be host migration like Mw2, imagine that every few minutes .
This looks amazing [emoji33]
I am positive. If you played the previous beta you would know this. Local pings.
Just doesnt make sense logically.
but p2p hosting on a server of 50 odd people? It makes perfect sense. No insane server costs for them. If there's players in your region you will find a game. Why not? They have host migration if the host times out or quits

Does anyone know if you receive the early access code if you order through takelot ect. instead of blizzard?
Doubt there are dedicated servers.
In fact, cod has never used p2p or it hasn't since cod 4+. People refer to it as p2p but cod has always been listen servers. Meaning traffic is routed through one host.
You also get listen-peer servers where multiple hosts peer amongst themselves.

The PC open beta is on Saturday.Do you have to buy the whole game to play the blackout beta?

My reply was more aimed at the p2p system that is currently available in cod games.I may be wrong but I think they may actually be using dedicated servers from what I've heard, and to be honest I'd imagine they would have to when hosting a BR... I tend to try stay off the COD hype train but things are definitely looking up for this one. PC has its own dev team and it's not just some shitty port, Blizzard don't generally home games with a limited lifespan, after playing the beta this is the first COD that I want to get another crack at in a long time!
Dont get me wrong though, there's still a lot of work they need to do to make this BR remotely competititve.
