Orders for the special offer will be closing tomorrow(Tues 28 March) at 10pm.

Just a reminder that orders for the special offer will be closing this evening. A reminder:

Normal bump and extra special bump!

Special Offer

FREE International Shipping from the UK

Yes, you read right. No, I haven't gone mad.

I'll be in the UK from the 31st of March to the 17th of April, this affords me the opportunity to bring orders back for customers as well, there are however some quite strict terms.

1. Offer is only valid for items from the UK or EU that can be delivered to Swindon UK before the 16th of April.
I won't be able to handle UK customs charges so all items need to be from the EU and obviously arrive before I leave.

2. VAT and duties will still apply
Before anyone gets excited, yes I will go stand in a queue to pay our government money. I'm an importer, not a smuggler. NON NEGOTIABLE

3. No large items
The orders will be delivered to my grandparents home so I can't have bulky items. So no monitors, PC cases, amplifiers etc

4. No LAGS
Air travel regulations mean I can't bring back anything that's a liquid or paste.

5. This offer is only available to forum members via PM
As a thank you to the various forums I will only be offering this to members who initially contact for a quote via PM.

6. I reserve the right to end this offer at any time
There's a limited amount of extra baggage I can book, once it's full, it's full.

Now all the rules are out the way, the good stuff:

Big orders, little orders, all are welcome, hit me up!
Not only will you get free shipping with this, I've tightened my margins to the bare minimum so some great deals are out there.
All orders are as usual guaranteed against loss/damage. Full refund or re-order in the unlikely event something happens.
Local delivery will be the week of the 17th of April.

Suitcases are filling fast, there is some space left though.

"Normal" orders, will continue while I am away however response times may be a bit slower.

For orders in progress I have made arrangements, all deliveries will be on track. Updates may just be a bit less frequent than usual.

Your family is gonna hate you Scott, haha. You'll just come back with tons of goodies for other people and nothing for them but what you got handed on the plane.

Too late she cried!

Sorry all I'm going to have to bring the special to a close, I really am now out of space. Quotes I've sent out today are eligible if we can finalise things and get a payment done tomorrow.

Anything small(physical size), and I mean really small, that is of high value to fill in the cracks may also be considered but at my discretion only. Diamonds anyone? Kidding...

I will be unavailable from around 7pm tonight until probably Sat morning, thereafter I will only be on in the evenings(UK time).

Orders in progress will still move and be delivered as normal. Updates will be sent when I am online.

Quotations and new orders will be processed when I am online so please feel free to send them through.

The UK special offer is now CLOSED

Good Morning Scott

Thanks again for the amazing service and quick shipping.

Hoping to bring in a few more items soon

Hello all!

God save the queen and all that.

After a mad week we're settling down to a bit of a holiday now, I have a fibre line to play with so responses will be slightly faster than last week.

The UK special offer orders are all ship shape so we're A for away.

Can you bring in vehicle parts? There is a body kit for the E46 3 series made by Prior Design that is stocked by mstyle.co.uk that I would like to bring in :)

I can do vehicle parts no problem, a body kit may be too large though for express air freight though.

There is someone locally that brings body kits in via air freight. Problem with the local guys is they charge me 5K more for the front bumper as an example compared to what I can directly buy it for in the UK, then they want to charge me duties and shipping extra. For example, the front bumper costs almost 9K from mstyle.co.uk with their markup added. The local company wants to charge me almost 14K for the front bumper which they get straight from the manufacturer + duties + shipping and that is a blatant rip off.

May not be as big of a rip off as you think unfortunately with the duties(20% on car body parts) and VAT, especially as once you go over 1.4m you're into air freight territory rather than express which gets a lot more expensive.

I hear you, but they want me to pay whatever the air freight amount is, the duties and then the almost 14K on the bumper which is ex vat. Incl VAT it's almost 16K.

Ok that's just silly then, maybe contact the seller and check the length of the package. If it's under 1.4m I can do it via my normal methods, over that and it gets a bit more complicated.

These are the car's dimensions.

Length: 4.47m
Width: 1.74m

Ah, more complicated, will look into it next week for you when I'm back in SA.

Awesome. Thank you. I'm still waiting for an email response from M Style which I'll probably only get next week anyway. Need to confirm something before I just buy the kit.

This looks interesting. Are 2nd hand items such as those from Ebay taxed or is it just shipping cost? Have you successfully shipped items from Ebay in the US and UK?

Scott is a beast bro. Just send him a message with what you want and he'll confirm or deny possibility. Used him a few times and always happy!

Will do, wish I knew about this when I was looking for audiophile stuff. Few headphones and DACs ship to SA from amazon :(

VAT and duties still apply to 2nd hand goods, done eBay many many times.

I do lot's of audiophile stuff, mostly from avforums.co.za where this business started. Headphone amps and DAC's are brilliant to ship.

Unfortunately anything related to fire arms is almost impossible to ship out of the States, the Americans do not like exporting anything remotely to do with guns.

Unfortunately not, I can tell immediately that the courier won't be able to get that out.

Should be all caught up at the moment, will be AFK till Tuesday while travelling. You are welcome to send through quotes etc I'll respond as soon as I can.

All UK special offer orders are sorted, packed and ready to go, I'll update customers individually once I dispatch with tracking numbers and ETA's.

If anyone is a cross-member with avforums.co.za please let the peeps know all is well, I've been IP blocked since I've arrived!

Scott

Yes he has. Got me a 2nd-hand ASUS Subwoofer for specific laptop models from Ebay US back in December/Jan. Zero problems other than Aramex in country being a bit crappy at understanding delivery instructions at the end (they phoned, got new instructions and then still delivered according to the old instructions anyways despite there being a big new sticker on the box delaying it as per new instructions).

All UK orders have been processed. They've either been shipped, will be shipped or you'll have an update why they haven't shipped(HINT: the packaging is on the other side of the planet)

Pleased to announce that normal service has been resumed so expect replies within hours(possibly minutes) again. Big plans are afoot to improve and expand on the service but those will come in the next few weeks.

Happy shopping!
