Asterisk was one of the 1st guitar riffs I tried (and failed) to learn

D-TechnoLife marked what's still one of my favourite arcs of all time

Ranbu no Melody still makes me eyes leak

I'm not really disappointed, but it doesn't compare to others in the legacy of Bleach OPs like Asterisk, D-TechnoLife and Ranbu no Melody, or even with some of the other OPs from shows airing this season

I've enjoyed the 1st 2 episodes.
I'm not sure why, but Ichigo's voice in the 1st episode sounded younger that he used to.
Might just be my nostalgia filter, but I did rewatch bleach every year since it went offline.
Enjoying the animation and that mini rush seeing a familiar face/hearing a familiar voice is very cool.
I personally think they chose the perfect voice actor for Quilge

Ichigo sounded the same as I remember, but it's been a few years since I last watched any older Bleach

Animation was mostly expected to be good, same people that worked on Akudama Drive

I couldn't recognise Yamadera, was different to his Spike/Togusa voice

I had a quick read through the manga years ago and this arc is definitely going to trump the others. The animation quality is welcome! I'm super happy it finally came back.

I just wish that Hunter X Hunter writer would fucking tell somebody else what to draw/write instead of crying about back problems the whole time, I'm sure a talented artist can carry on if he is told what to do. Both he and George R R martin are equally frustrating.

But at least we got Bleach back after a decade!

Unlikely this would replace the Soul Society arc as my personal favourite, but let's see how it goes

Not sure HxH would be the same without Togashi himself. I stopped Berserk at Miura's last chapter like many others and not sure if I'll ever continue, since I'm content just leaving the story at that

Togashi can literally just sit with the artist and convey to him his story, the only job the artist will have is to draw.

This is quite a normal anime trend though, it's better to wait for at least 12 episodes.

Don't think the cliffhangers have been that bad

With more popular shows like this, I prefer following weekly to keep up with the discussions and avoid spoilers

If it is going to be 4 split cours, that means that it will air weekly for 13 eps, then have a season break (about 3 months) and repeat 3x. So you could wait for each cour to finish and then binge if you prefer

Agreed, the previous week was majorly rough for me, so I got to binge ep 5 - 6 together. Was #chef's kiss


Also, no spoiler, the most shocking part was the pronounciation of Yhwach

I wouldn't treat the ep count as confirmed until there's announcements from the producers or studio

And with stuff like the Golden Kamuy situation, I'd realistically expect there to be delays along the way

Most anime for TV is still produced in like 720p, then upscaled to 1080p. This I guess might be produced in 1080p, but I've seen no source to confirm
