This was a Birthday present for my Dad and working from the phone is an inconvenience for him. I'm not getting support from Hifi Corporation so I might as well buy a replacement remote myself.

I’ve got this if you want to have it. It’s from the mi box non S. Not sure if it will work. You are welcome to take it.

Another good option which I have used is those generic ones withthe usb dongles, like R100.
