Would you buy a Netac SSD?

The biggest factors for purchasing an SSD is whether is has a DRAM cache, what controller it uses, what type of NAND it uses (TLC, QLC etc.) the endurance rating (along with warranty) and ultimately the price.

That's my opinion though.

Depends how it compares in performance, longevity, warranty & price to say Crucial BX / Kingston budget SSD's

Link?
Never heard of it so probably not....
If it's next Gen tech then maybe?

@souljazk @satsix Reasons for an outright no?
1) Never heard of them.
2) No idea of long term support IE if the brand pull out of SA.
3) Controller?
4) Firmware updates over time?

As With Hikvision launching their SSD's , I was hyper skeptical. Sometime passed & reviews came out that were very impressive, so I bought one {sold my Samsung NVME SSD} & abused it somewhat to see if its decent, so far so good 1 year later.

I think don't really matter when it comes to stock available if you can't get your preferred brand and it come to push...
At some stage we use to only use Intel ssds in our work pc's and our supplier back then stopped getting Intel and they recommended adata...

Well wasnt 2y later ant tech was busy fixing people's laptops left right and center due to ssd's failing and all adata. They run just as great as Intel in beginning and started with this intermittent slow down as they got hot then if laptop cooled off they would work fine again for x and would cause random bsod. Well they got all replaced by Samsung and Intel but lately to save cost by wd green ssd and so far 2y in no green drive has failed...

ADATA usually make crap products. Won't touch their stuff. Check the Crucial BX SSD's, FAR better than WD and the Crucial MX is the more premium varients.

Seen it on Takealot, but stuck to crucial, sandisk, kingmax, etc...

Price makes it tempting though .

Now that I see they are based in Hundred Acre Woods I might skip...😅
At the end of the day all flash chip memory controllers are being made by like 6 or 7 big manufacturers?

As for the ADATA's failing I've only ever had one fail on us since about 2017 which was a brand new Samsung NVMe.
We've got mostly +- 50 XPG SX6000 Pro's installed and no issues thus far.

My liteon failed with a bit swap error. There is a firmware fix for it.

But try getting the dos version fix.

Support is important

Well for personal I think don't rally matter, but for me it's more speed and warranty/price (rand per year)

Chose to get HP m.2 over the Samsung as hp speed was better and price was like half so running the ex950`s.

So brands in personal pc
Intel
HP m.2s
Samsung
Kingston (havnt actually used then still in their packaging)
Liteon - this came with the alien but hasn't failed and about 5y

Have tried others that didn't come close to their spec sheets regarding their read/write speeds that I got rid of after short uses, but adata I'll only buy their ram no ssd support from me
