custom loop? I thought that thing looked funny but on the product page it looked like it had a built in water thingy. Am I missing something obvious?

You mean besides the fact that you need to already have a pump and radiator, and need to connect that with tubes to the holes in the glowing blue section or else the card will overheat ?

exactly that. I am as clueless with radiators as can be. I looked at the manufacturer's website and thought "Oh, so it has a mini-built-in-radiator. How cool!"

I thought the same thing man, had to cancel my order due to discovering that. A buddy of mine has the Aorus Waterforce model which comes with a rad so it was a real bummer to find that this one does not.

Got a further update. The card IS arriving, but not for channel. It's going to be Woot (and any resellers that buy from Woot if they see fit) as the consignment was paid for upfront and in full by them.
