Posting this to see if there's any interest in possibly renting out the concurrent connections to a Vox fat pipe data account. If you're on ADSL or VDSL or Openserve fibre, then should be pretty cheap data.

The benefits of these old fat pipe accounts is you can have concurrent connections, meaning you can have multiple connections from different phone numbers (max is 4 I think for this). Currently my dad and brother(living together) are 1 connection on the account(I am the other) and simply use it as their data for their adsl. I've not once approached using the 500GB monthly allocation, let lone ever dipped into the roll-over data, including when my brother and father have been on the account (their current line speed is only 2MB, so not a lot of usage can really go through) . Lockdown has basically meant these past few months usage has been the highest in a while, and we've still never used over 500GB a month.

So instead of cancelling the account all-together or transferring it to someone else, I thought maybe people might want to buy the concurrent connections for access to the data. I'm not sure if the data speeds will be affected by the number of concurrent connections, but I am on a 4mb adsl line and my brother and father are on 2mb and we've had no speed issues at all.

So yeah, let's see if there's any interest?

If someone wants to buy this, let me know. Fibre has launched, so can let this go.

Have about 1.5TB of data left. So yeah, call it like R300 and it's yours

Looks like the account cannot be transferred, so if someone wants to rent it from me for the monthly cost, you can do so (with a small caveat that my dad can also use the account-they do hardly any usage on the account)

If nothing bites close to the end of May, it will be cancelled.
