Hi There, Do you perhaps know if it can output 4K @ 60hz? And can it also double as a laptop charger?

I am not sure, I don't have a 4k monitor to try it with sadly.
Being able to charge a laptop with an HDMI cable as the power source, assuming you use the type C end with your laptop, is super new to me..... I've honestly never seen this before.

I've only actually tried it with a Dell 5K Monitor which pairs nicely with a Macbook. The monitor is Type-C to Type-C and it does charge and display the Macbook (I tested it with my Dell laptop and it charged).

My curiosity then triggered doing the same with my LG 4K monitor. I bought a Type C to Type C cable and it outputs 4K @ 30hz (or 1440p @ 60hz) but sadly doesn't charge the laptop. So the only use case I haven't attempted is utilizing an adapter. HDMI would plug into the monitor and then Type C to Type C to the laptop.

I guess in your case if you aren't able to charge the MBP then it isn't going to work.
