This a good buy for next build?

Hi all

So i am planning on an upgrade on my current PC ( Specs in my sig )

I will be keeping my RTX 3080 as it is working fine for now, till such time as i need to upgrade that,

Does this look like a good upgrade path or should i be looking elsewhere?

Well didnt really have something in mind, i just put that all together and looked decent,

So budget would be pretty much this or say max 15k

Ah okay. I would always recommend getting the 7800X3D if you can, the difference is wonderful.

Comes to R16,976.

Sorry to piggy back on this but also planning a build but I will be waiting on Ryzen 8000 to slip into an B650 Board. Does AMD EXPO ram work the same way on an intel platform? Never know what the future holds.

You can check reviews and stuff, but AFAIK there's isn't a huge difference between EXPO and XMP, they both work on both systems. The other day I saw a test where an EXPO kit gave higher FPS than an XMP kit on an Intel system for example.

But YMMV.
