Thermal paste enough?

Hi carbies!

So today I finally have all my parts to build my first gaming pc!

As a new builder I would like to ask a question regarding my cpu cooler thermal paste

The CPU cooler I'll be using is a Antec kuhler h2o k240 rgb, it has pre-applied thermal paste, but in my eyes it seem to be not enough ( lyk n bietjie min ). I've compared it to the AMD Wraith cooler that you get with the ryzen 7. But like I said I'm a new pc builder with untrained eyes. For the thermal genuineness on carbonite, what would you say? is it enough? ( after the lock down I'll be upgrading the thermal paste to thermal grizzly ).

It should be enough, but I would change it anyways with something better (like Grizzly) as soon as you can. The standard toothpaste is quite shit compared to the good (drug free) stuff.

Running ryzen and boy did i blob my first amd mount. Dont x, dont line, just put half a rice grain on. I used Deepcool z5 paste. Was about 80 bucks a tube then. To my surprise - works better than the stock thermal cheapos one gets. (not a fan of deepcool)
Temp 30, stock clocks with 240mm rad. Im happy. I'm available to assist (19days to go)

Strangely, if you have better paste (Grizzly or Master Maker Nano), I would choose that. It will make something like a 5-10 degree C difference for a year or two, which is a long time to have your PC run cooler and thus quiter. Just my 2c.

For now ,or at least for the next 19 days of lockdown that will have to do. Will for sure change it first thing. Was mostly concerned that its to thin.
