Item: Technicolor TG589vn v3 VDSL Router (Mweb FON VDSL router) + ZyXel WRE2205 Wireless Extender (MWEB branded)
Age: 3 years
Price: R250 for both (total)
Warranty: None
Packaging: Yes, original
Condition: Brand new, never used
Location: Lenasia
Reason: Never been used, not needed
Shipping: At your cost, for you to arrange
Collection: Preferred
Received these 2 items years back when I signed up for an MWEB ADSL contract. I did not actually use either of them - I stuck with my current setup at the time as it was working just fine (Netgear ADSL router, I am now on Telkom LTE).
Both boxes include MWEB branding, and might contain MWEB specific firmware. I know that the Technicolor VDSL router can be flashed with original firmware (there is a thread somewhere on Mybroadband forums). Not sure about the Wireless extender though, but probably flashable as well as is the case with most devices like this. Both devices can probably be used without needing to flash the firmware, but I would recommend doing so, hence the cheap price.
I don't have an iTrader score as yet. If you have an iTrader of 15+, I'm willing to accept payment after you've received the goods and checked it out.
If interested, call or Whatsapp me on 082 728 0000 for quicker communication. PM also fine, but I will take longer to respond.
