I need a small print done willing to pay of course! Otherwise, a coffee and my thanks if you just wanna help.
My one Fn row key PLAY/PAUSE broke so I need a replacement.

This looks like a REAAAALLLLLY tiny job. As in, it has such fine details that I don't think our FDM printers can manage it. When slicing it looks like some of the pins are lost.

I'll give it a spin tomorrow to see if it works. If it does, no charge. If it doesn't work, still no charge.

This is what I was afraid of. Slicer indicated that those 2 little pins are too fine to print. And that turned out to be the case.

I'm assuming it was those little pins that broke off on your key?

The "good" news is I was able to tinker it in Tinkercad, so will try again shortly. The bad news is it is still tiny. Might have to reinforce the design somehow.

Didn't forget, just got busy with the baby and then suddenly it is midnight.

After modifying the file a bit in Tinkercad I was able to get those pins to print. They are still very small and thin (those posts are less than 1mm wide) so not sure if it will hold up. Is there space to make those even longer @jazzamazza or is there a hard limit on space?

@Dropforg3d this is all so flipping awesome. It was my Bday last Sunday then unfortunately work got away from me and I haven’t had time to check Carb. Really really sick man. Awesome you got those pins to print. I’ll check the original and let you know in the morning. I’ll also send pics. No pressure if you’re over the project man. Thanks so much for the efforts. Still on my desk. Can easily print 10 more, it really is tiny.

No charge either but I'm based in JHB, so would have to ship.

Ooh, resin will surely be the best option here. If you have some ABS-like resin it should be strong AF.

@Shampoo1014 and @Dropforg3d you guys are honestly too kind. @Shampoo1014 I would definitely pay for shipping if you can crack this. Sorry for not getting back guys. Update from my side I can’t find the key that broke but pulled off another key with the same pins. Will post pics now. Just need to get them on imgur.

I imagine the pins are important because they will probably hold a metal bar or something of the like to assist with the springy-ness (engineering term) of the keycap.
I am going to be putting some prints on the printer in a bit, will toss a few on and send some pics
I don't have any fancy colours atm, I'm afraid. So you gonna get what you get xD

Yeah those lil clippy pin things are super important hehe. No stress about colours I just want to have something to click for play/pause xD. It has a plastic springy thing btw. I can send a pic of it if you'd like. Let me know how it goes @Shampoo1014! Have a good long weekend fellas.

Hey @jazzamazza , sorry for the delayed reply. I got a LOT going on at the moment.
Managed to print some keycaps for you, they came out pretty well. Printed a few in different orientations as well as slight size adjustments.
