Great achive drive, Write once read many. Not recommended for RAID due to SMR

There seem to be quite a few of these drives, all Static wrapped. Have no idea about the state hence Disk Reports. They all look new but cannot say unless I test and if I test and it was new then obviously it isn't new anymore... now is it?
