Item Wanted: one lonely little button for a Roccat Tyon...
Packaging Essential: not really.
Desired Age: this century is good.
Location: Earth, near Merrivale would help.
Willing to accept a shipped item: sure, no issue with that.
Ballpark/Budget Amount: depends on the options...
so, me and my trusty Tyon go way, way back.. this was the first mouse (of about 6) that actually let me play FPS games again, after completely losing the use of my left arm... tldr: I was on a bike, a car cut me off, I screwed up my left brachial plexus.
anyways, fast forward to the current day, and I've now been an official one-armed bandit for a little over 15 years already. 🖖 but alas, my trusty Tyon broke anail button recently.. 😲 I think it got bumped off the desk somehow while I was at work, not entirely sure...
the button itself does still work, so the switch inside is still good. but the plastic button cap has broken free, and is now sitting lose within the space between the body and the left click button.
for clarity, the button in question is highlighted in the photo below:
I did email Roccat support a few days back to see if they have any reommendations, still waiting for a reply....
pray tell, does anybody out there know where I could get a replacement button...? or perhaps have a non-functional Tyon that I could scavenge for parts (maybe get some other spare parts at the same time)?
the System Shock remake is dropping this month.... 'nuf said!! yes? 😁
