I wouldn't recommend a 2700x. 5600 would make your PC feel faster

I agree, as 5500 is approx 20% faster in games + Zen 3 + PCIE 4 + 65w vs 105W... So 5500/5600 is a no brainer in comparison, but at the right price a 2700x can make a reasonable stop-over while I find a 5500/5600 :)

Just remember 5500 doesn't have PCIE 4. Its like a boosted 3600. The 5600 is the first real 5000 CPU.

You Sir are 100%, fook, I must've made an error when doing some research. Thank you for pointing that out! Guess I'll have to upgrade to a 5600 when I decide to go for a PCIE4 SSD/GPU. Long live the CUD #rip-budget :p
