Iv been looking around for a replacement lens for the console. It doesnt read any disks, but Im sure someone might be willing to replace it or something.

Item: Playstation 3 40GB
Age: No idea
Warranty: None (wouldnt be for sale otherwise )
Packaging: Will package appropriately
Condition: Excellent (minus lens). No scratches or knocks.
Location: Cape Town
Reason: Dont feel like replacing and buying and fixing, besides, I have an Xbox
Shipping: Not too keen but at buyers risk and expense
Collection: Always welcome!

Wow! ok, read all the PMs...

Just for everyone:

Its just the console. No cables or controllers or games.
The power cord is simply a kettle plug, can always throw one in...
I got given this ro repair for my use. As far as I can see it has only ever played one game for a couple hours! Has been broken and sitting around for its entire life. Although I have turned it on, Flashed to the latest Firmware (sorry for the guys who wanted to run OtherOS etc, but did it as its reported to fix software issues relating to the drive). The machine works and goes around in the menu and connects to the WiFi here etc etc. Just doesnt spin up disks or read them.

If anyone has a laser and would like to sell it to me, then that would be great, Im a little sad to let her go haha!
