So I'm currently rocking an LG K9. Not the best of phones, but I had to sell my Galaxy S6 Edge Plus six months ago because I really needed the cash and needed a cheapy phone in a hurry. Anyway, I'm currently paying R455 a month (used to pay R350 a month before I upgraded in September 2017, when I got a two-for-one deal at R390 a month, then Vodacom decided to, shortly after that, for the first time in years, up their monthly fees). So, I am looking at going cheaper now, back to R350, even R300 a month. Currently these are the 4 best picks I've deduced from looking at price brackets and reading their specs online:
1) Samsung Galaxy A20
2) Hisense Infinity H12 Lite
3) Huawei Y7 2019
4) Honor 10 Lite
I have always been a Samsung fan, but am not familiar with the new A series. Are they any good? Have read good things about the Huawei, so that might be the best pick. My work colleague is also a huge fan of theirs. Know NOTHING about Hisense and Honor.
Also, apart from having to be decent for me to use (meaning, larger and faster then the LG K9), I may consider selling the phone I get at one stage and getting a second hand phone (when I have enough money put aside), with better specs (eg. something like a Samsung Galaxy A7), so I have to look at resale value as well when getting a device. Any advice?
