This version supports 3G networks, so it still has many years of life in SA, and comes with a Lipo cell, antenna and some resistors and an Led. Particle is an awesome dev platform, and I have used one of these to create a connected Nespresso dispenser that accepts Zapper payments: In this instance, I used one of these to control 5 servos that dispensed the corresponding pod, and exposed the function over an API that the tablet calls when payment is successful.
