Size
I'm 192cm and sized Medium to Large. This stuff fits me pretty well, but I didn't buy it with specific measurements in mind.
Most of it is designed to be loose fitting, and likely won't look out of place on someone with different proportions to me.
If you'd like to try it on first, you're welcome to.
Shirt
Almost fashionable enough to wear to work. If you work at a paintball arena.
It has loose fitting and breathable fabric. The shoulders, arms, wrists and hands have some padding to help soften a paintball blow on the sensitive bits.
When I use the thumb holes the sleeves feel a tiny bit short, but they're serviceable. I have long arms.
The shirt is designed to be loose-fitting, which helps to soften impacts if you get tagged on your torso.
Pants
Skid on the sand like a champ, and take kneeling aim without injuring your patella on a rock.
The pants can be adjusted around the waist using built-in straps and velcro. There is protective padding on your stuitjie (coccyx/butt) and on your front. There's also an extra layer of protective material at the front, along with velcro and a zip that makes it easy to open up should nature call (try not to make use of it in the match, I don't want to picture a paintball hitting the little guy). The material is much more sturdy than the shirt, and there further padding and thicker fabric found on the knees.
Vest
+2 to Constitution or to Diplomacy when encouraging your wife to play paintball with you.
The vest has padding on the back, chest, and sides. The padding is shaped like muscles. Think Roman centurions in the Asterix and Obelix comics.
It's hardly noticeable under your shirt, and your friends will think that you are buff and strong. rather than thinking you are a wuss for wearing a vest. Probably.
The vest in particular is quite stretchy and doesn't get in the way of movement. Offering the use of this vest to your female friend or wife may result in them being more willing to play paintball with you.
