Both routers are running OpenWRT 22.03.2, and both support 802.11r (fast roaming) and 802.11s (mesh protocol between routers). It's a decent, cheap option for an entry-level wireless/wired mesh (routers connected to each other wirelessly via 802.11s or connected via Ethernet), and can be expanded upon using routers from other manufacturers with OpenWRT support.
Will also include a D-Link 2750U running OpenWRT 22.03.2. I wouldn't recommend adding it to this mesh setup due to its age (2.4 GHz only, tiny amount of ram, and I'm not sure if it supports 802.11s), but if you aren't familiar with OpenWRT, it's a good testbed for figuring it out without the risk of bricking a useful router
