So I recently got a second hand upgrade kit from someone, it’s the MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max with a Ryzen 9 3900X

When I installed it, I noticed that my Corsair AIO coolers bracket did not fit. Did some research and turns out it’s a super old cooler.

I then went and ordered a new AIO cooler from woot which is the fractal S24 Lumen.
It’s quite different from my previous AIO, the pump is actually located in the radiator itself.

But I now see after fitting my board into the case that the board does not have a 5v 3pin ARGB header.. only a 12V 4pin RGB header

But my AIO cooler needs a 5v 3pin to run the ARGB on the cooler itself which I do not have on my board..

Is there anyway around this? Could I possibly get an adapter which goes from a 5v 3pin to a 12v 4pin which I could then plug into the mobo itself

Otherwise I assume that I will be running a stock black cooler.

Any help, suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated
I’m still a noob in the PC race but definitely willing to learn!

Much appreciated,
B
