Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I bought a FiiO E10K and it sounds awesome with my PDG1 headphones. Bought the E10k because of the headphones being analog and a bit on the soft side.

Only one problem though, the E10K only has an input for my headphone jack and not my mic. If i plug my mic jack into PC with my headphone jack into the E10K, I get this weird Static noise (the static noise is only heard when mic is also plugged in). If both jacks are in my PC, then everything sound awesome with no static or hiss or anything.

Has anyone had this issue before? Will a Headphone / Mic Splitter help me at all? Cheap USB Soundcard? is it a grouding issue?

Regards

Tried front panel, tried back panel. All USB inputs and jack inputs but still the same issue.

Someone told it's apparently a shared grounding issue. Because i'm splitting my mic and headphone i'm getting feedback thru the mic jack. Does this make sense?
