Look, I’m giving this mouse away. I suspect the issue is the software update but not sure. If you manage to reset it or whatever, you’ve scored yourself an excellent mouse.

Mine doing the same, if someone finds the problem, let me know! Lovely mouse.
Google giving some interesting ideas.
1. Either the thumb button, creating the issue, by being stuck
2. Batteries gone bad
in my case, I have struggled with thumb button, before cursor movement stopped. GOnna try this fix again.
Did get a MX Master 3S in the meantime, but the 2S was excellent!

Guys, have you checked that the side gesture button is not stuck ?

It's quite common, just open it and release a bit of tension (unscrew the screw a bit) and it will work again.

I had them brought over from the UK with family, around R100 a set.

EDIT : nice score, awesome mouse! my MX Master 1 only recently stopped working after 5 years of daily use
