Hey guys, I have a bit of an issue in regards to my LAN/Ethernet.

Mobo: MSI H97 Gaming 3 (2nd hand purchased recently)
CPU: i5 4460
Ram: 16Gb ddr3 1600 mhz
PSU: 750w Raidmax
Win 10 Pro (New purchase)
240gb Crucil BX500 SSD ( New purchase)

All works well except for the LAN.
The LAN does not show up in Device Manager or in Network settings.
It's as if this motherboard has no LAN what so ever.
Every now and then the orange light will show up but nothing comes from it.

I have tried the cleaning port and installing drivers with no success. Downloaded about 6 drivers form Msi and Intel etc.
When trying to install driver, an error message : "You do not have any proper killer hardware for this driver"...
I have checked the bios and router and cable swap. No success.
Read on the net that it could be due to the operating system win 10.
Has anyone experienced this. What could be the fault and what can I do to check.

Thanks in advance.

Make a loopback jack and see if the lights flash. If it doesnt then it's probably cooked.
