Item 1 : MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr 3GB (Specification R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5/OC) (The OG version of the R9 280), was somewhere between a 1050 and 1050 Ti performance-wise
Age: Old
Warranty: Negatory
Condition: Runs fine, had a re-paste a year or so ago and has been sitting in my cupboard after testing. Will give it a test and a furmark run this evening and update with results for those keen
Location: Table View, Cape Town
Shipping: Cost and risk on buyer but yes, I dont have any packaging though so will bubble wrap. Collection preferred

Item 2: i7 3770 + Asus H61 motherboard (Think it's an H61E, will confirm this evening and update the post) + 8GB DDR3

Warranty: Negatory
Condition: Doesnt post, I suspect its the motherboard thats died. System powers on and immediately turns off again and gets stuck in a boot loop but it doesnt give any video out/bios screen. RAM is 100%, 99% sure the CPU is fine as it's been running cool and quiet at low load in a home NAS for years and it's been through 2 of this same motherboard so i suspect its just a shitty board

Did you try with a single stick of ram at a time? I woulda checked each slot until it posts n then undervolt n drop ram speeds

Yeah unfortunately no go, its only got 2 slots and both failed with a single stick

Bump and update, some difficulties so the GPU is back up for grabs - just note whoever takes it, the return PIF is a R500 dono for NYRAD, will send you bank details once you dibs it and we've discussed collection and all that

The GPU is working 100% as per furmark screenshot, running fine with decent temps as well - test was run for around 40 minutes total and it remained the same as the results in the screenshot once it settled in. Fans are also working without any issues for the full RPM range so no wobbles or anything funky

oh just heads up for this boot loop, i experienced this too,
It has to do with windows 10 driver issues, i think the hardware is fine, try it with the gpu you have?
and it should work fine, something to do with vga drivers and onboard gpu

Seems to do it with onboard or different dGPU's including some newer ones so I've mostly given up on it
