Home use program (HUP) only allows persons in the employ of their company to use software which they are licenced to use at the office. It is not transferable.

We can buy it directly with our email address and can use it for any home PC or Personal use and doesnt need to be for Company use. Which is what all users do, they purchase these products and use it on their home machine or laptop etc.

So if i purchase office 2013, i get the license key, i can come home download the software with the machine i intend to install it on and use the Product key. We do not need to use it at the office, as we are volume license customers.

From the Microsoft faq:
The Home Use Program is a Software Assurance benefit available to Microsoft volume licensing customers with active Software Assurance coverage on their Office applications. Employees who use the covered licenses at work are eligible to purchase these Office applications for use on a home PC during the term of their employment. This temporary license expires with the employers Software Assurance coverage, or upon termination of employment with the covered customer.

You've clearly missed the point that Microsoft is trying to make with their licensing. That point being: you may not sell the software.
