Out of curiosity, what kind of runtime do you get out of your new batteries?

Obviously, load dependent, but I just want to compare against mine - same model with batteries that are 1.5 years old, but only gives me an hour with pretty much negligible load.

I did a test yesterday with a 400w load, CRT screen and old PC etc with one of the 1400VA units I had, only lasted 8 min.

I'll do a test tonight on a 2000VA unit, what type of load do you run that gives you an hour? I'll try and duplicate that.

I've cut it down to just a baby monitor on that UPS, something comparable to a router would likely be a fair comparison. ~10w load.

I know that there are more purpose designed things that should last longer, but I have it lying around so was wondering if I'd get more mileage and flexibility from replacing batteries compared to buying something else...

We have one of those angelcare baby monitors, I'll test with it to see what it does

Much appreciated!
Couldn't do the test with the stage 6 loadshedding situation, but could do it last night after it had a full charge.

I had the angelcare unit connected, as well as my Vodacom fibre router, Mikrotik wifi router and Hauwei B315 LTE router, at the 3 hour mark it only fell to 75% so I gave up.
