Seems like such a simple little component but i cant for the life of me find them, particularly black metal ones. The only local source ive found so far is bobshop sellers, which I'm hesitant to deal with unless i have to.

Of course 3d printing is the other option, but id rather have something metallic and slim. Is my best bet just checking local brick and mortar computing stores? Am i missing something obvious?

Like the above or the old silver ones you used to get?

If you don't want to 3d print them, you can have them laser cut out of perspex.

Helped a fiend cut ROG grills

I think I’ve seen basic silver ones at AC/DC.

Bobshop has a rating system similar to Carb and also buyer protection. If it's a highly rated seller it's probably not that risky to buy from there, I reckon.

(Worth noting for those who don't know, it's Bid or Buy, they renamed themselves recently).

Looking for those old style ones, but in black if possible (then again i do have spray paint)
I think i actually have a metal dragon shaped / cut one i bought way way long ago from computer mania i think.. i've also been looking for some grills

Thank you so much, never been suggested that retailer before.
They aren't a retailer as such, RS Components mainly supply electronic components to big industry but you can also buy from them. They are reputable and their main branch in SA is in Midrand IIRC.

Not sure what/if you ended up buying. I bought 10 of these yesterday, and they were delivered today. Decent quality.
