What sort of tyres are you looking for brand names , Dunlop sm800 new is r1150,, pirelli r1450, I've been shopping around as well, so it's pretty close to your expected budget new , Dunlop tyres are the cheapest from all the brands I phoned

Brands would be nice but if i have to go budget tyres then i guess thats ok.

Also found another place that has Kumho tyres, not sure how good they are

Try Tyremart. I got Michelin Primacy 4's for R1250 per tyre. It's the best touring tyre on the market. They also have cheaper options. I found them to be the cheapest in my area

A quick tip: Google the make and model of the tyre before purchasing it. Ensure that it can handle all types of weather and road conditions. I would especially make sure that the tyre has good grip in wet conditions. The last thing you want is the car aquaplaning when hitting a puddle at high speed. Rather spend a bit more and get a good tyre, don't cheap out and put your safety at risk.

Kumho Tyres

Kumho has a good reputation and they are based in South Korea. Might be worth checking them out. The price is excellent.
