This generation of ThinkPads are basically bulletproof laptops. It's a little thicker than newer laptops but it can probably survive nuclear war.
Only thing to nitpick is the red scrolly-thingy in the middle of the keyboard is missing. The button itself still works perfectly. Otherwise in fantastic condition for its age.
Battery is basically brand new (and big, 100mWh), bought in September 2022. Still have the 52mWh (now down to 21mWh) original battery, will also include in the deal. I bought the battery thinking I'd keep this laptop as a backup for some years more but saw a good upgrade and now need some cash to finance that. The new battery cost me R1,100 as import (it's included in the total price). Very difficult to find this bigger one in ZA and one that works with this model (voltage is slightly different than other ThinkPads of this generation it seems).
See pics for condition. Don't mind the white specs of dust (I know my desk isn't so clean), those aren't chips or scratches.
