Laptop - Storage keeps unallocating itself & going to 0MB

Hi Guy's!!!

Was hoping someone could help me here

I have a laptop from a client

Incident 1 - A few months ago

Client phone's me, drops off laptop
Do the thing

SSD has unallocated itself all data is gone

Taken into data recovery they cant find any data either

Cool , we buy new ssd install ready to go

Incident 2

I marked it off as a once off, i wish i didnt

After i installed windows and was testing

Device did the same thing, however i suspected that i didnt connect the drive properly

Formatted reinstalled windows , no problem

Current Incident , incident 3

2 Months later laptop is back @ me

SSD has unallocated itself and their is no data or OS on the drive

Just a FAT 0MB

Biggest suspicion is their might be fault on the 2.5 connector on the motherboard

Eskom didnt play a role in incident 3 as they are now on solar
Potentially played a roll in incident 1

@ScuBaLlama Suggested maybe a issue with CMOS

anyone else have any ideas or suggestions
