Good day everyone

I hope everyone has been well and taking care during these times.

Currently I have just completed my exams at UNISA for a Higher Certificate in Marketing. As we make our way through December, I would like to get prepared for next year right now. I'm hoping to find some sort of work, possibly based around what I have studied at UNISA. I'm hoping for an opportunity, to use my knowledge and skills, as well as further expand them through a position around the field of marketing, which can include marketing assistant, admin assistant, retail, sales etc.

I currently reside in Gauteng, JHB. I have also received my NSC certificate and completed Matric. With these qualifications I also have a good knowledge of tech related topics as well as being literate in everyday computer skills.

I currently have small experience from volunteering by being part of an association at a school, which includes handling events, managing retail stalls that are put up in school as well coordinating the small things at events. I'm seeking for an opportunity that will allow to me gain this experience and further up my skills and knowledge, as well as allow me to understand the environment I work in. I was hoping if anyone would like to add another member to your team, even if it is part-time. Even if you are not recruiting at the moment, I was hoping to at least try and see if you're open for another member. I'm able to forward you my CV as well.

Thank you!

Approach Incredible Connection, Makro etc.
With your skillset and papers you should be able to find a sales job,
Remember, everyone starts at the bottom, so don't decline jobs due to a low starting salary.

Although I have not had prior experience, I believe that I am able to bring something to the table with my hard work, dedication, knowledge and skills, as well as be open to learning and adapt to new skills, and I am intending to also fill in the experience gap.

Thank you!
Have a look at this and see if it helps as a guide.

My 5c - can you get yourself around independently with a car/bike/scooter/broom (worth mentioning)? Also be aware that generalised marketing qualifications are seen by companies/recruiters as making you want to do sales (this may be the brunt of your job offers as well as some financial advisor positions). Lastly, you sound like you are driven to learn - try some free courses from Udemy or other relevant marketing bodies.

Good luck!
