IT Technician Level 3 Job Specification
Requirements
Must be fluent in English.
Must have a High School Matric Certificate.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and own vehicle.
Must have 4 to 6 Years experience within IT.
Must have Office 365 knowledge.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
Windows Operating System Experience is a requirement, Mac and Linux systems will be advantageous.
Must have a tertiary level qualification in IT:
Example: A+, N+, CompTIA, MCSA, MCSE or other 3de party certificates or Diplomas
A Degree would be advantageous.
Advance network configuration & setup experience (VPN, VLAN, Network Routing)
Basic Scripting and Programming Skills will be advantageous.
OPERA Hotel Property Management Solutions (PMS) will be advantageous.
Oracle MICROS POS Systems will be advantageous.
Mikrotik, Pfsense will be advantageous.
VOIP Setup & Troubleshoot Knowledge will be advantageous.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Ability to close out task’s Occasional after-hours work & standby.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong computer, network & server troubleshooting skills.
Key responsibilities
Remote and on-site support.
Assist with Setup and Installation of New Desktop, Laptops, Servers network equipment.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of Desktops, Laptops, Networks (WIFI & LAN), Firewalls, Switches, Printers, Backups, Antivirus, Servers, Internet Connectivity and Email
Assisting with designing and implementation of new systems and services.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of Desktops, Laptops, Networks (WIFI & LAN), Firewalls, Switches, Printers, Backups, Antivirus, Servers, Internet Connectivity and Email
Oversee of Level 2 IT Technician’s
Develop and maintain SOPs, Diagrams, and documentation.
System Monitoring
Other IT Related duties could be introduced as the Requirement Grows
