Hi Everyone!

We are looking for an intermediate IT Support Technician here at Cancom

Someone who has already worked with ticket systems and has some knowledge about network and end user troubleshooting.

You will need a valid drivers license as you will have to travel to remote locations for support.

We are based in Fourways, Gauteng.

Requirements:
  • General A+ and N+ Knowledge/qualification
  • Android and IOS knowledge
  • Min 2 years working experience in Technical environment
  • Traceable references
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Own, reliable vehicle
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team

Job Description:
  • Providing support to resolve IT queries
  • Assisting on the service desk
  • Designing Solutions for Customers from Existing Templates and Solution sets
  • Creating and Maintaining Accurate Documentation and Tooling
  • Provide Training on existing and new products
  • Problem Management by identifying root cause and problem resolution
  • Software installations
  • Call out and Remote Desktop Support
  • Ensure High Quality of service and support
  • Become a reliable point of contact for clients
  • Have an in depth understanding of all products and services offered by Cancom – Training will be provided
  • Loggins of Queries support / Sales

Willing to look at junior software developers if they don't mind doing some general IT Work and travelling etc.

Workload would be split 50/50 between IT work and software development. Software development is either C# or Mobile App Development (Java/Kotlin or Swift)

Is the salary the same for a software dev?

For a junior software developer with little to no experience the salary would be the same but obviously they could look to move into a fully-fledged software development role with relevant increases etc..
