Here is my story. After almost a year of sitting at home unemployed, I got a job about 2 months ago. Its a local company in CT, we manufacture and sell various water quality controllers etc. The owner, rights his own programs for the products we manufacture and sell. He has since encouraged me to start learning a language, no pressure at all he said, it would just be more beneficial for me to learn a language. Might be that I should lend a hand with software design further down the line and it will also help me to get a better understanding of how our products actually work. Regardless, his current go to language is C# for the development of our testing software, as well as for the firmware and software our controllers use. Here is my problem....well not really a problem as there is no pressure, but Im almost 50 years old, no prior exp in programming/coding at all. I have looked at C#, but only via Youtube and Google links that I have found so far. It seems interesting and something I would like to learn. Again, my position is not reliant on me learning C#, but it would be nice to be able to dabble with it, as well as lend a hand should the need arise. And this is where you guys come in. Im hoping you guys could recommend any sites or links offering free tutorials? It would be greatly appreciated. If there are none, I will just continue with my Youtubing
Thanx in advance
