Google pixel 7 users

So was watching 28 weeks later on disney plus, movie was about half way and my whole screen went night vision green. Locking the phone and unlocking it fixed the issue. Anyone else experienced something like this on their pixel before.

I did find ALOT of posts on reddit and some other forums stating it happens since pixel got android 14, watching netflix. Seen 1 user saying it happened to them watching disney aswell. Also seen a post made on google forums posted 2 hours ago saying google is looking into it.

Just want to know if some of you guys also had the issue.

Next question is, why isn't 5G on the pixel workimg im South africa?

I had the green screen issue once and it went away exactly the same way, lock and unlock. This was like 2 months ago so I can't recall what I was doing. This was on android 13 though.

As for 5g, I recall someone trying with 3 different networks in South Africa and it wasn't working. I doubt we'd get it either but lte works fine

The only problems I personally have is that calls can be spotty at times and people sound like robots but it was the risk I took when getting the phone in an unsupported country

Getting the same issues with the calls also. But the calls sound normal when I'm connected on my wifi

Yeah pretty much my experience also. Still 100% the best phone I've ever owned. it has not frozen, lagged out, randomly turned off or anything annoying since I bought it.

5G won't work until it is officially support apparently. So until Pixels are sold here probably not going to happen any time soon.

Apparently there is ways to get 5G and VoLTE to work if you root your Pixel. Can't confirm personally though

Just out of interest sake, why would my wifes oneplus 11 5G work (imported from a shop in north Carolina) but not pixels?

Yeah pretty much my experience also. Still 100% the best phone I've ever owned. it has not frozen, lagged out, randomly turned off or anything annoying since I bought it.

Real android experience and ios, lekker UI

As far as I know it's just a software lock unfortuantely. That's why there is a root change that is able to just remove it

7 Pro here. I upgraded to 14 last week and haven't seen this issue before. Only thing that broke for me is that call recording broke and I had to use SKValex's magic module to get it working again.

P7Pro here as well, thankfully no issues like this, VoLTE would be nice and the call screening but I cant bring myself to root even though by this point I've seen all the tutorials on how to do it

New owener of a Pixel 6 here, you do not have to root in order to get the VoLTE working. I have it working on mine with a nice workaround for both the physical and the eSim... Let me know if you need help.

I did extensive research and reading and it's safe. And you can enable for both the SIM and eSIM voLTE and WiFi calling.

It works without issues so far on my pixel 6.
