I currently have a CM MM710 and love the lightweight feel to it. The cable is annoying, hence I want to go wireless.

The title options are my two options at this stage, unless you can recommend other mice in the same price range.

I love the lighweight mouse, but have heard that Glorious users had QC issues. The battery life is also not as great as they claim, according to forums I've read.

It'll be mainly used for FPS games. Which should I go for?

Glorious Model O wireless

Main gripes with the Model O wireless
- You do get scroll wheel squeak which can be resolved
- Performance wise there is a slight response delay and when I say slight we're speaking of 10ms slower then the top mice (note average or
casual users won't pick this up but in simple fps terms it's the time period of pulling off a flick shot or quickscope)
- Dust or dirt is never your friend with a hole design mouse (Do yourself a favour and get a gentle toothbrush to clean it out ever so often works like a charm)

Main positives with the Model O wireless
- Bang for buck at the price
- USB Type-C charging is a nifty alternative
- Great battery which is better then the G502 Lightspeed for sure
- Good stock feet
- RGjesus would be proud of it's lightshow
- She's not a hefty betty either

Things I found with the Model O wireless to note
- Shape is great for anyone because it's so safe and supports most styles of play
- The slight response delay did annoy me but it's what happens when you use many mice that are faster but that comes at an increased
price point.
- The clicks did not feel all too special at first I found them a bit too clicky for my liking where you could not spam them but did notice on a
few of the copies I used that the longer you use the mouse the more mushy the clicks become so note that in the long run for yourself.
- Main temptation for this mouse though is the price point from Evetech it pretty much begins to outweigh other things you have issues with.

Logitech G502 Lightspeed

Main gripes with the Logitech G502 Lightspeed
- First off depending on your copy the weight is anything from 112g to 115g(that's the lightest you can make it without modding), however weight does not bother me it is tail heavy though so not completely balanced with movements. The wired version is more balanced.
- The sensor has a period where it tends to go to sleep as a power saving feature which is annoying for some as the sensor goes off then comes on when you move the mouse which causes a point of acceleration before it remembers what your dpi settings are well at least from the feel of it.
- The feet are sluggish so do not let anyone tell you otherwise, once you have felt any version of performance glide feet it's tough to go
back to normal PTFE grade.
- The shape is only for right handers and it has a few specific grip styles that it forces you into, mouse 1 and 2 buttons are narrower then
many expect them to be so large finger guys must be aware of this.
- Cheaters love this mouse due to keybinds and scripts available for it.

Main positives with the Logitech G502 Lightspeed
- Performance wise it's within the top 5ms vs other top tier mice so no complaints with click latency.
- Battery is adequate.
- Mouse wheel is EPIC, nothing in the world like an infinity scroll wheel however the wired versions scroll wheel is better.... Fidget spinner for grown ups this is.
- Logitech build is still really good but you always have that double click issue sitting in the back of your head.

Things I found with the Logitech G502 Lightspeed to note
- This mouse is the top selling gaming mouse for a reason due to it getting so many things right however it's going on nearly 4 years old for a wireless so the tech is dated.
- It's one of the most accurate feeling mice you'll ever use however you always have the idea that the weight might be holding you performance back.
- For the price I feel it's no longer the GO TO mouse of choice because you're mostly just paying for the Logitech brand name.

If you like light weight mice, then steer away from the G502. This is coming from a person that would only recommend a G502 for any situation.

The Model O also seems very much like an ambidextrous mouse, where the G502 is not.

Factors to weigh in when purchasing a mouse would be price point firstly as to what you'd feel comfortable in paying, then preferred shape and weight followed by actual mouse performance lastly. I tend to select performance above all others for myself then adjust to the rest.

Every other factor still falls within preference of the user as we are all different so some shapes work wonders for a user whilst are a nightmare for others.

I've used an MM710 for years, then replaced it with an MM711 when the old mouse had scroll wheel issues. I cannot imagine going to a G502, which at almost twice the mass, would negate any wireless advantage (for me).

The Model O wireless is the logical choice if you like the MM710, as it has a similar shape and is not as heavy as the 502.
Have you considered the Coolermaster MM731? I've not used one, but it's priced around the same as the other two.

So I think the thing that will affect the experience of the mouse the most, is the shape, and then the weight. The MM710 has a rear hump shape which is slightly rare. Both the Glorious and the G502 are middle hump, which has quite a different feel in the hand.

In terms of shape and size, the Logitech G305 looks like a good match if you compare specs here vs here. The G305 is also only 89g with a lithium AA battery. So that may be a solid option. (Incidentally all the Glorious mice are hidden on RJN's site because of an apparent firmware issue doing the rounds that causes stuttering - make of that what you will).

You can also try a mouse bungie to lift the cable off the table surface? Might make it less annoying?
