Hey mate, I have 1 guy that can vouch for me with a Graphics Card I sold. I will see if I can get a hold of him.
Regarding the transport there. I totally understand that you would like to test the guitar etc. As I said, it needs work on the volume knob and input jack (Scratches) and maybe also replace the 9V battery for the pickup.
I am just a bit scared I send it there and you disappear with it so how about you pay for transport and like a deposit. If you do not want it you will get back your deposit?
If not, any other suggestions?

Regards

As a rule of thumb, buyer pays first then seller releases goods... In your case the buyer has a much higher i-trader (25) which means he has bought and sold 25+ goods on Carbonite where you currently have no i-trader rating, this makes you, the seller the bigger risk. You need to understand that for the R2500, it would be a dumb move for the buyer to ruin his 25 i-trader score by doing you in, you on the other hand have nothing to lose if you decide to pull a fast one and not ship the guitar after payment has been received. I too have been in this situation.

My suggestion - Buyer pays R199 for you to ship via Postnet, you get a picture of his ID book and give him a phone call to make sure he seems decent enough.
Buyer collects the guitar from Postnet and you receive confirmation via SMS that he collected. You give the buyer an hour or so to make sure he is happy with the guitar and that it is the way you promised it (condition wise), buyer pays you with an immediate EFT for your trouble.

This is the safest for both parties. 25 i-trader is quite good and I believe you can trust this person. Let me know what you guys decide.
