I'm a logi whore. So I wouldn't use anything else. I had a set of g633 for 18 months and managed to get hold of a set of g935. The fact thst you need them for a laptop and they run off of USB may be better because then you don't need to rely on the laptops amp to. Power the speakers. Would be better for your nephew

Thanks , that's great feedback . Was unsure how the built in sound card would affect the sound reproduction.
