This PSU works perfectly for the most part, but under certain loads can occasionally cause a hard reset. I replaced it a few years ago because when I installed a new GPU (an RX 480), one of the games that I was playing (DOOM) would crash sporadically. I picked up a newer GPU recently (a GTX 1080 Ti) and decided to test the PSU again, and found a similar situation: everything works perfectly (DOOM Eternal, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc.) except for odd, particular games—in this case Desperados 3, which reliably caused a reset a few minutes in.
So if you're looking for a general-purpose/backup PSU, this will most likely do the job perfectly. Just be aware that there are certain situations in which it might cause issues.
Oh, and all of the modular cables are present apart from a single PCI-E cable that I misplaced. There are five others like it though, so I doubt that'll be a big problem.
FYI
