Hi All,

So I am in a bit of a problem...

I am building a new PC and so I bought 2 x of Cooler Master R4-120R-203C-R1 MasterFan MF120R ARGB 120mm Case Fan - 3 Pack

Now the problem I'm having is that the ARGB connector that the packs come with are 3 pin [●-●●] but they only connect to the JRAINBOW port on my motherboard which is also 3 pin [●-●●] but the other RGB ports on the board are 4 pin [●●●●] so basically I can only connect 3 of the case fans and not the other 3 fans.

Any one have a suggestion as to what I can do?

Sorry, maybe it's because I have a headache or something but I don't understand how you're connecting 3 fans to one port. Are they daisy chained from one fan to the next?

I'll test something here a bit later today. Maybe pm me your number and we can figure this out over whatsapp

Because I bought the 3 pack, it actually comes with a 3 way splitter

Ah ok... Well another 3 way splitter would get 5 fans connected. So technically you'd need a 4 way splitter or 2x 3 way splitters. Any 4pin RGB splitter should work on the ARGB strips

Didn't you get 2 of these splitters with the pack?

Pretty sure you can easily connect 6 fans to one JRAINBOW. Maybe just need one more of those splitter cables, and then just connect all of them.

Any Idea where I could buy?

I got one per pack so I would just need a third cable

I have no idea. I had the same problem with RGB, as I have 9 fans and 2 ports, but luckily ol Fox above had the RGB splitter cables. The ARGB ones however I haven't been able to find. Short of buying another fan pack, selling the fans and keeping the splitter, I have no idea.

Yes, one more would do the trick. I use 3 splitters myself and no issues at all.

Are the ARGB headers on these fans 4 or 3-pin? I see the splitter is only 3-pin, which means the fans are addressed in parallel instead of one chain.

If the fan ARGB headers are 4-pins, meaning it has data-in and data-out, there are other possible solutions if you can make your own cables.
