Hey guys, just want to ask a few questions regarding the Corsair H100i V2 cooler:

Specs:
Cooler: H100i V2 (6 months old)
CPU: i7 4770k delid @ 4.4ghz 1.25V (Grizzly conductonaut)
Mobo: Asus Z87 Gryphon + 16GB Ram
GPU: Gigabyte 980
Case: Corsair Obsidian 350D
Fans: All slots filled with max size fan - Corsair SP Quite fans

My coolant temperature reaches 45°C after like half an hour of PUBG, yet my CPU temps are great at a max of 50° - 55°C in game depending on how long I play.
My ambient is 25°C.
My cooler is mounted in front of the case with the pipe at the top.

Questions:

1. Is 45°C on the coolant temps bad? I heard Gamer Nexus say 60°C is where degradation starts and that is also only when maintained for long periods of time.

2. Should the pipes be facing down or is it just a myth that that has any affect?

3. Is it worth getting a new case or maybe even new fans to decrease the coolant temperatures?

Any help would be appreciated :)

1, 45°C sustained liquid temp for a couple hours at a time is fine. It's only sustained temps at 60+ is when you're going to start having issues.
2. Haven't tried this myself, but apparently the pipes at the bottom when front mounting helps the the longevity of the pump since it minimises air bubbles in the loop.
3. The standard fans on the 100i v2 are already great fans albeit noisy. Changing fans won't get you much better coolant temps but it will get you a quieter system. Before investing in a new case, remove the front panel of that 350D with the existing fans and see if that drops temps and by how many degrees..
