Cooling Pad
As mentioned in the reviews the Wootbook Ultra already has very good thermal performance with it's large vents and high speed fans.
I have however build a custom cooling pad for the laptop which significantly lowers the temperatures even further.
The cooling pad is based on a Cooler Master Notepal U3, but I replaced the included 3x 5V 80mm USB fans with 3x Corsair 120mm ML-120 400-2400RPM, 75CFM (max each) 4.2mm H2O (max) 12V fans with an external DC power supply.
This custom cooling pad outperforms any 5V USB powered cooling pad and I have test results showing it lowers average GPU & CPU temps by over 10 degrees Celsius while running 3D Mark Time Spy & Firestrike benchmarks for 40-60 min runs. (Laptop on flat surface with internal fans at max speed vs. Laptop on cooling pad with all fans at max speed)
I would be happy to include it with the laptop for just what it cost me to make R1600.00 (R660 for the Coolermaster U3, + R770 for 3x Corsair ML-120 fans + R170 for DC Powersupply & Wiring)
