Hi all

Been having issues the last week or so with a black screen going straight to reboot whilsts gaming. This shows up randomly.
System specs: 5900x, Aorus b550 master, 6950 xt, Aorus 3600mhz 8gb x4, Corsair HX1000, WD black gen 4 ssd.

What I have done:
DDU drivers (had 7900 xtx before the 6950 xt)
Update bios to latest version
Set to defaults in bios
Removed additional AMDRyzenmasterdriver v22 and V20 from registry (was V22 and V20, first removed V20 and then V22) Currently on V20
Updated all chipset drivers
No OC, no undervolt etc. All bakc to stock.
Temps are fine and within spec. CPU 70c in gaming and 60c for Gpu

PC will run fine in windows under low load. Would black screen in game after various intervals. After updating Bios which was the last step I did, I ran Cinebench 23 and Furmark at the same time and it ran fine with temps in the low 70c. Did this for over 30 minutes. Thought my problems were done. Played COD for 3 hours in the afternoon no problem. Last night again in COD after a round or so of multiplayer it started rebooting again. At this stage I think it might be PSU related. I havent physically done anything on the pc yet like reseating all cables, ram etc which is the next step.

Any advice out there of similar issues experienced?

Did you have the same issues with the 7900xtx?
Are you running 2 individual cables from psu to gpu? Or using single cable with pigtail splitter?

No issues with 7900 xtx of even 3080 ti before that. Power draw on the 6950 is just over 300W and I run separate 8 pins to the 2 power connections from the psu

1. Install BlueScreenView and post a screenshot if it has entries there.
2. If it doesnt have any entries, then check that your system is writing a mini dump.
3. Is your PC on a multiplug or is it directly plugged into the wall?

I was getting the same issue with the BSOD, but now my drivers get uninstalled as well. This is bizarre.!

I posted about this a week or so ago, seems to happen mostly in COD and pubg
Go to documents delete that cod folder.
Put off SAM
Set clocks to 2400mhz and 2500mhz and voltage to 1120v (for some reason COD dont like my gpu voltage to go to max, which is 1175v and undervolting dont help if clocks go above 2500mhz.
it will ignore the set voltage and go to 1175v leave the TDP slider on 0 or -5%, well this is on my 6900xt this has solved my issue for the last few days
How ever all my other games are perfectly fine with 2700mhz clock
Forza, nfs unbound, cyberpunk, etc then my card pulls its full 370w and constantly at 1175v temps doesnt go above 65 70 degrees on the hotspot, vram is at 60 degrees aswell.
Which makes me believe it can be my gpu, tried ram, tried a other board tried a other psu aswell still had the same issue, and it only seems to be happening on the AMD setups
