Howsit fellow miners :)

WAREHOUSE SHARING

Looking at renting a small factory in Cape Town Industrial areas. Hoping to share with a fellow miner that has atleast a 8+Mhash farm and want to move it to a factory/warehouse.

MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS

Also looking at running/maintaining mining farms for owners in the warehouse to lower rent cost for all mining parties.

Further details will be discussed so if you have a farm that you would like to move into a warhouse PM me.

The maintenance plan is flexible, I am there form 9 - 5PM during the day to reset/restart/reconfig miners that have gone offline etc etc. I will have a PC setup for remote after hours. If its an emergency I can always make the quick drive to the site to inspect.

OR

If you want to start a farm and want someone to maintain it for you drop me a PM.

COSTS

Warehouse prices vary from R7000 - R15 000 Looking at high roof (for cooling purposes) warehouses with 3 phase power some offer up to 260 amps which is bigger than 4 households without geysers, stoves using up the amps and watts.

The business will all be handled through my sole trader/propietor - LightCore

Rabble Rabble Rabble. If you were in Durban you would have 3 miners on board. Btw what do you get for the difference in cost? More square feet? Better area? Better security? Getting insurance too considering you'll have R300k+ of equipment?

roligov yeah I know all about your and other miners global warming project :p

Basically more square feer. All of the warehouses I have looked at have 24/7 securirty with alarm systems. Area has a minor influance on price so far.

Insurance is a muat yes. But every miner joining will pay their share of rent and electricity. Any insurance is on them. Unless we can get a better rate with joining all the hardware together.

Besides the actual rigs, wouldn't there be a fear of the hdd,s and wallets getting stolen or are they paid out to a wallet off site? Noob when comes to "farms"

crack2483 Wallets are stored on the miners PC/Laptop that will not be onsite :) The HDD's (which should be flashdrives in mining farms) does not contain enough information to be a threat, at least if you use a little common sense.

The only information that a miners flash/hdd should have is the actual worker and password which is useless unless you want to mine for someone else :p

So no risk on that, Actual hardware yes. Hence why insurance is VERY important. But doubt anyone throwing thousands into an investment will not insure it.

How big a farm are you wanting to run there? It'll take a good 8 MHash or so (before electricity) just to cover the rent, so unless you're planning to run 50+ MHash in there is it really viable?

I will not be covering the warehouse etc costs by myself. Will need at least two or more miners to join to divide costs between us. Not going into much detail right now as things have slowed down because of near future plans. But I will make sure 8Mhash farm will still turn a profit (keeping sharing costs low for smaller mines) Bigger farms will obv pay more.

Since I last posted things have changed a bit. I am hoping to form part of a partnership with another miner if all plans out :)

I will talk to him once our own plans are finalized about proceeding with this idea.

If there is interest PM me.

Bump

This concept has been accepted by my potential business partner. Anybody interested please email me for more information.

Will post a public proposal in the coming weeks :)

Will we or I be able to invest in said company to recieve revenue off shares (once profitable of course) or something along those lines...?

Nikkel I will speak to my partner and revert back here. Please note that we are in the beginning stages so anything going forward expect at least a 30 day delay while we set ourselves up first.

I would also possibly be interested in investing. Drop me a PM once you have the relevant information available :)
