Arduino Uno R3 Advice

Evening guys
So I just grabbed a Arduino Uno R3 starter kit as I'd been reading up and it seemed interesting and I'd like to get my hands messy with the hardware side of things.

My question is are there any good links and tutorial online or books in which I can follow to learn how to properly make use of the board ?
