Hi guys. So I got a Dremel 8200 for a bargain after searching for a while. I had this Apple G5 case that I have been converting (ongoing chopping and changing for about the past 3 years now. I just couldnt help myself, as soon as i had my new play thing in my hand, I got the urge to cut the shit out of something. And this is the result of what happend lol. Dont judge!

For anyone that's not to familiar with the original looks of a G5 case:

I sprayed the case a bronze color some time ago, but the cutting only happened yesterday. Results:

lol, that almost sounds like me and my Prodigy :p

I am still waiting for one of those G5s from [MENTION=27916]Mr-Day-Wing[/MENTION] so that I can also be a part of the G5 club
 
The 1st thing I did from the very beginning...3years ago...was to remove all the original apple innards, and cut everything out. Cut out the rear to accommodate a back side that I salvaged from a Gigabyte case I had. After some time i decided to spray paint it the color that it is now. Obviously the case picked up marks and scratches as i went about like a mad man cutting everything in sight. So I cut off all the ears/handles for a more clean streamline look and the next step is to get it sandblasted and then I am going to paint it or have it powder coated either gunmetal grey or apple candy red.

First MOD ever, so just trying to get the hang of it and pic up some experience

So I think it's time for some updates:

I decided on spraying the case bronze and did that, then I decided no, I want it metallic silver and did that...and after that I decided to wrap it with carbon fiber look vinyl and it bomb'd. Big fail! So gave up on this crap build...

Yesterday I walk into one of our local hardware store, passed the isle where all their spray can paint was on display and I got this vision...Black on Pumpkin Orange...and this is the results:

The MB tray I did Black Gloss, middle section of the case Pumpkin Orange and the HDD tray a mixture of both

Im also busy with a G5 mod.i must say that your colour looks great. Im trying to keep mine looking as original as possible but thats easier said than done.i will be posting my project hopefully soon.
