Hi gents,

Does anyone know an ISP that sells an international roaming SIM that will work through Africa?

Any info or recommendations will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Also keen on this - I have been looking at an Orange eSim - But seems like you have to get it at a physical store...

So much for a digital product!

Not sure about African countries but eSIMS saved my wife in France and Netherlands. As ever CellC messed up roaming and her phone was useless when she landed. Got onto wifi and bought data packages for each country.

It was AloSIM

If you can go the eSIM route, then maybe Airalo? I used it in Europe and the UK and it worked perfectly.

Thanks, for all the info, guys.

I'm looking for a physical SIM to put it in an LTE router. :)

An eSIM is not going to work, but hopefully "they" can send a physical SIM.

Not sure that exists. Maybe an eSIM with a cheap eSIM enabled device to hotspot or Starlink?

maybe something like this?

I think that CommsCloud IoT Connectivity - #1 Provider In Africa can help you out - we were going to use them for tracking devices in Africa across multiple countries but the client found their own solution - not sure what it was but the offering from commscloud seems very good in that they can build you a sim card for specific countries with sepcific providers and manage usage etc.... give them a shout
